The unique cuisine style, the elegant food presentation, the architecture, the incredible amenities and facilities are some of the key highlights of Japan’s hospitality industry. The increasing demand in the hospitality sector and shortage of labour in Japan has opened doors for qualified foreign employees, providing them great career opportunities to learn, explore and work in the Japanese hospitality sector.
Working in the Japanese Hospitality Industry
SPG offers Industry Oriented Program for the Indian hotel management graduates. This program involves training the hotel management graduates with the Japanese language skills for a duration of 9 months upto N3 level in India and presenting them with enticing placement opportunities in prime Hotels/ Restaurants/ Resorts in Japan. The program structure enables the candidates to attend Interviews while doing their program in India and travel to Japan on work visa upon the completion of the program.
Program Design
ELIGIBILITY CRITERION
– Graduates from Hotel Management course under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 i.e. 15/ 16 years of formal education
– An aggregate of 55% or above in graduation
– Age limit below 29 years.
SELECTION PROCESS
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are to undergo the following selection process to be inducted to the program
Psychometric Test
Assessment of Statement of Purpose (SoP)
HR Interview
Upon clearing the Interview rounds candidates are to register to the 9 months Japanese Language program (N3 level of certification)
Interviews for the jobs in Japan starts at N3 level of the course
Interviews will be held in India, Conditional offer letter will be offered before the completion of N3 level of certification
On clearing the N3 level certification, within 45-60 days COE & Work visa will be processed
Candidates fly to Japan on Work Visa.
